2021 Winefest At St. Michaels VIP Tasting

SPRING 2021 WINEFEST REIMAGINED

 

We know you want to experience a wine festival and we have reimagined Winefest. We are having a “Mini Winefest” which allows our most discerning wine enthusiasts to taste and purchase a carefully curated selection of hand crafted, small production wines from around the world. This will be a very exclusive event with wine personalities representing their wines! We will present these wines on Saturday April 24th and possibly April 25th if we exhaust all tickets for Saturday. Currently we are selling only Saturday tickets.

 

To accommodate the current situation, we have chosen exceptionally made wines with the ability to be enjoyed now or cellared for years to come. We have priced the wines aggressively to encourage our guests to purchase a wide variety of these highly sought after, limited production wines, many producing as few as 150 - 300 cases per year.

 

All of the wines will be featured at the Old Brick Inn Kemp House, which is normally one of the large sites during normal Winefest activities. There will be very limited seating, in an outdoor tented environment. Every period will be limited to the number of guests we can allow with the proper social distancing. The ticket will allow you to safely enjoy more than 60 wines over the two periods on Saturday. Each of the two periods will present about 30 wines and there will be a one hour break between the periods. The first period will begin about 11am, and the second period will begin about 3pm. Each ticket entitles the holder to attend both periods and taste all of the wines.

 

This event will permit many of the wine reps, winemakers, and winery owners to present their wines in person, allowing them to share their personal stories and answer questions you may have while still maintaining appropriate social distancing.

 

The event will be conducted in the following manner:

·      Late morning Period 11am/ 1 Hour Intermission / Afternoon Period 3pm

·      Each period will last approximately 2.5 to 3 hours with a 1 hour intermission between.

·      Each Period will offer about 30 unique wines representing specific varitals.

·      You will taste all the wines available, and select your purchases after each period.

 

In order to maintain our safety protocols:

·      Tastings are limited to guests with advance tickets and a reservation.

·      All Tastings will be seated/tutored. No standing permitted.

·      The wines tasted will be retailed and can be stored for pickup on Sunday.

 

Each ticket includes all of the tastings, a small snack plate and a $75 credit on a wine purchase of $300 or more.

 

We have selected highly awarded and notable wines in many varieties, and each of these wineries represents different styles and many different growing regions. Some, but not all of the wineries planning to attend are on the Winefest WEB: WWW.WINEFESTATSTMICHAELS.COM

 

We feel that these wines to be tasted provide any wine buyer with many choices of wines which they will find appealing. And the wine credit offered with each ticket allows the buyer to gain extra value. We are posting information about each of the wines, but since seating is limited please get your tickets quickly. This festival could sell out at any time.
