This is an introductory course designed for wine lovers and professionals alike that presumes no prior knowledge. Each of the five modules is packed full of useful information and videos. The videos take you to vineyards around the world, and you will hear explanations from the world’s leading winemakers. It’s fun, straight-forward, and best enjoyed with a glass of wine in hand.

You will learn about the ten most important grape varieties, the key countries and regions, how wine is made, and why some cost more. You will also learn how to taste, describe, serve, and select the perfect bottle.

There are five modules:

Module 1: Introduction, the grape varieties, countries & regions.

Module 2: How wine is made.

Module 3: What makes some wines cost more.

Module 4: Tasting, selecting and serving wine

Module 5: Examination

You can begin immediately once you enroll, and take the course anytime you want, from anywhere.

Typically it takes between 4-6 hours to complete the course, depending on your learning style and speed. Once you complete all the modules you can go back and re-do the entire course as many times as you wish before taking the exam.
