Infectious diseases, cancer and inflammation are closely intertwined. But the science is advancing, and viruses can actually be harnessed to treat diseases — a virus that may one day save your life! This event is part of an award-winning series called A Sip of Science. The virtual events are free and feature timely conversations with well-known scientists. Phoenix-area mixologists or chefs will lead a happy-hour break with a make-along activity. (Ingredient list provided in advance). Learn more about innovative viral therapies that may soon be fighting cancer as the three-part series continues Tuesday, March 2, 6-7 p.m.
