The Institute of Masters of Wine is delighted to announce a new component of our Annual Champagne Tasting: a bring-your-own-Champagne dinner at the local Chinese favorite R & G Lounge. Once we have finished evaluating the more than 100 champagnes on offer at our annual tasting, it will be time to drink some! Bring your favorite bottle, and we will be certain to get things started in style with a few tempting selections from our cellar.
Purchasers of tickets to the tasting will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for the dinner as well, but seating will be strictly limited to 30 people, and tickets are expected to sell out quickly. It is not strictly required that you attend the tasting in order to attend this special dinner. Menu will include the following traditional Cantonese specialties:
Assorted Cantonese BBQ (Char Siu, Siu Yuk, Roast Duck)
Salt & Pepper Oysters
Lobster with Black Bean
Whole Steamed Fish with Ginger & Scallions
Crispy Chicken
Pea Shoots with Garlic
Chinese Broccoli with Ginger
Fried Rice
Tickets are $100, inclusive of tax, tip, and corkage fee.
Event is limited to 30 attendees. Please BYO one bottle of Champagne. No promotion codes are offered for this event. Tickets are electronic (no need to present a paper ticket), non-refundable but transferable with notification.
