Veramar Vineyard was founded in 2000 by James and Della Bogaty on their hundred-acre estate in the Shenandoah Valley, near the town of Berryville. In 2001, their son, Justin, came on as the winemaker after earning a certificate in oenology from UC Davis.
Since then, the Veramar has grown to produce over 10,000 cases of wine a year, with accolades from wine critics around the world, including numerous medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards.

8 Chains North is a boutique winery located 8 miles west of Leesburg, Virginia. The winery includes an inviting Tasting Room and a beautiful private event space perfect for weddings—all with stunning vineyard views. We are dog-friendly, with an off-leash dog park, and are famous for our chocolate pairing. Groups welcome with reservations.
We are one of the few wineries in Northern Virginia where the owner is also the grower and winemaker. You'll enjoy our handcrafted Old-World-style wines.
