Veramar Vineyard was founded in 2000 by James and Della Bogaty on their hundred-acre estate in the Shenandoah Valley, near the town of Berryville. In 2001, their son, Justin, came on as the winemaker after earning a certificate in oenology from UC Davis.
Since then, the Veramar has grown to produce over 10,000 cases of wine a year, with accolades from wine critics around the world, including numerous medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards.

Bogati Bodega & Winery was founded in 2010 by the Bogaty family of Veramar Vineyard renown. After making a trip to Argentina, we were inspired to make South-American-style wines with a Virginian twist.
As seductive as the tango, Bogati Winery captures the energy and the passion of winemaking regions all over the world. Choose our flight tastings to sample Bogaty-family wines made in a range of styles, from innovative New-World processes to classic styles of France and Italy.

James Charles Winery & Vineyard
We are two generations of people passionate about wine, and James Charles Winery is the embodiment of our story. Our two existing vineyards simply could not contain our enthusiasm and absolute dedication to our craft, and this new venue allows us to expand our horizons and continue to grow the best grapes and ferment the best Virginian wine imaginable in the Shenandoah Valley AVA.

Casanel Vineyards and Winery
People, Passion, and a Sense of Place.
These three unique ingredients define what we are all about here at Casanel Vineyards & Winery.
We started right away, hand-planting 10,000 vines on seven acres. We chose varieties that defined regions (Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon), and varieties that we hoped would define us as a farm winery (Carmenere, Petit Verdot, and Norton). We set to work on renovating and restoring the historical buildings on the property: choosing to reuse the wood and stone of our land, combining both old world and new. Our main goal, what we strove for years to achieve, was to be fully Estate, in that we would grow our own grapes and produce our own wine right here on our home site. From bud-to-bottle, our family wanted our fingerprints visible on every aspect of our business.
Casanel strives to make the finest estate wines in Virginia. Sourcing only our fruit or others locally grown in Loudoun County, we work tirelessly to ensure the highest quality and finest tasting wine in the Commonwealth. From hand-harvesting to small-batch bottling, we ensure precision and refinement every step of the way. Come try some of the finest wines in Virginia.
