You don't have to look too far to picture yourself in this city ranked as the best all-around dining destination by Travel & Leisure? Charleston.

Leafy palmettos, big porches and chilled vodka gimlets are just part of the picture..

Founded in 1670, the low country is a vibrant melting pot of African, Portuguese, British and decidedly colonial heritage. Home to some of the most fertile land you'll find, the rich low country is bounded on one side by the Atlantic and the Savannah River on the other. Names like Sean Brock, Mike Lata, and Forrest Parker are amassing Michelin stars and Beard awards by harvesting the abundant saltwater and marshlands to reinvent 300 year old Creole recipes. Shrimp-and-grits, crab, Frogmore stew and braised pork belly are taken to high art in Charleston. We'll pay homage to these trendsetting chefs pairing our menu of small plates with wines from all over Portugal.

One of Europe's oldest viticulture regions, Portugal's vineyards have been untouched in some areas for centuries. Madeira wines and Island customs helped propel Charleston to its center of the antebellum culture. We'll visit the rich Duoro region near Porto that has been making some of the world's top table wines that go well beyond its namesake Port.

Native sons Darius Rucker and Hootie & the Blowfish would be smiling as we pay tribute to low-country toe-tapping sounds to serenade you through the evening. Lake Austin will alight with our own live oaks and Spanish moss, transporting you to a delightful summer evening.

We look forward to seeing y'all and making memories.
