The Blue Ridge Heritage Project was formed to honor the people of the Blue Ridge Mountains who lost their homes, land, and livelihood when the Shenandoah National Park was formed in the 1930’s. Today, the memorial chimney symbolizes the enduring spirit of the mountain people and all that remains of their homes. Bill Henry, President of the BRHP, will discuss the project and the history behind the story. Please email Marty (marty@ducardvineyards.com) to reserve your spot as space is limited. First 10 registrants will receive a free glass of wine! No charge.
