Mark your calendars and join us for our annual Steak, Stein and Wine Fest on October 24th! Enjoy a day on the historic downtwon square, perusing featured artists, hand-drafted items, antiques & collectibles, and shop the downtown retail district. Sign up for our 5K Run with a winding trail through beautiful rural park and wooded areas. Enjoy local food trucks special feasts, and Rockdale Coffee Roasters for coffee enthusiast.
Visit our Jail Museum built in 1895, our Old Town Cameron Railroad Museum, with a replica of Cameron in the 1940 with running trains. This unique display was hand built by John Johnson, a life time labor of love of Cameron, recently featured on The Texas Bucket List Show. Dont miss our main Milam County Museum exhibits and a tour of renovated Milam County Historic Courthouse. Take a tour on the El Camino Real de los Tejas Trail, details to follow. Explore the Classic Car Show, games such as Giant Jenga, Corn Hole and Washer Tournament and more for the entire family.
During the day enjoy "Steak Flights" tastings consisting of various cuts of 44 Farms beef prepared by a celebrity chef. Treat yourself to sampling of local winneries and craft beers. In the evening dine on a true farm-to-table Steak Dinner featuring 44 Farms Ribey Steaks dining in or outside under a lighted tent on the square.
