Dr. Laurie Marker of the Cheetah Conservation Fund will be our special guest for the first Charles Krug SIP (Series of Interesting People) event of 2020. Dr. Marker began her career working with cheetahs at Wildlife Safari in the U.S. Her work took her to South West Africa (now Namibia) while conducting research into the re-wilding of cheetahs born in captivity. Dr. Marker will share her life-long experiences working with these extraordinary animals.

"We always think there is someone else who will do something, that ‘they’ will take care of it. I realized early in my work that there is no ‘they,’ and so I decided I would take action to save the cheetah from extinction.” -Dr. Laurie Marker, Founder and Executive Director, CCF

Wine and refreshments available for purchase.

This event is expected to reach capacity. Please RSVP.
