Did you know Nowruz, or Persian New Year, has been celebrated for over 3,000 years? Celebrate Persian New Year with vegan versions of the most iconic food the culture has to offer.
As you arrive you will enjoy Dolmeh (stuffed grape leaves). Chef Shabnam will then continue the evening with Tandoor Ash (thick chickpea and bulgur stew) that is a staple in Persian cooking; next, you will then enjoy Salad Shirazi, and finally the Polo with Khoreshte Ghaymeh (rice and yellow lentil stew) including the famous Tahdig. Dessert will be Shole Zard (a fragrant and sweet rice pudding with toasted almonds).
Enjoy fragrant black tea all evening with sugar blocks, the same way Persians enjoyed tea centuries ago.
