UC Davis Library's inaugural Warren Winiarski Wine Writer Collection Fellow, Jullianne Ballou, will discuss her first of this two-year fellowship at Davis. As the importance of wine writing on the quality of wine and its appreciation continues to increase, so does conserving and making accessible the archives of those writers. Jullianne is developing various strategies for online access as well as related programs for the library. Wine writer Bob Thompson of Saint Helena has already donated his papers to the Collection; those of Jancis Robinson and Hugh Johnson have recently been added. Thanks to the support of the Winiarski Family Foundation and Warren, personally, this repository of wine writing will continue to grow in size, richness and availability at UC Davis Library.

A reception begins at 6:30, the program starts at 7:00 pm. There is no charge for this event but a reservation is recommended. Please go to www.napawinelibrary.com to RSVP
