The state and their wines have come a long way since then, if not fulfilling Truman’s prediction to the letter then certainly doing so in spirit.

 

California encouraged the broad-spread popularity of wine throughout the U.S.A.

 

Latitude is less important in California than what lies between a given vineyard and the Pacific Ocean, these varied geographical features go a long way to explaining the varied and wonderful microclimates vineyards in California enjoy.

 

Price is $20.  Please call or see the front desk to place reservations.  802 253-5742.  Doors open @ 4:00.  I suggest you arrive no later than 5:00 to avoid feeling rushed.  People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. We end at 6:00
