What is Abruzzo wine? Are you interested in Italian wine and want to learn more? Do you like Italian wine and want to feel more comfortable talking about it and selecting wines for yourself or for friends? What is Trebbiano or Pecorino anyway? What makes these wines great?
There are so many wine questions!
This Italian wine class is an introductory wine class for consumers and will answer all of these questions and more!
You may have become curious about all of the talk about Italian wines lately. Native Italian Grapes Varieties have been becoming more popular and trendy in the last few years. But what are Native Varieties? The question is complex and so is the answer. We will explore this question and focus on Native Grapes from Abruzzo in our start to Italian wines series. More importantly, you will explore what you like about wine and develop a deeper curiosity and confidence in exploring the world of Italian wine.
We will also taste wines from this region to challenge our senses and appreciate all that's Abruzzo. Featured producers: Tiberio, Ferza, Talamonti, Valle Reale and more.
Why a wine class on Native Grapes from Italy?
After working in the wine and hospitality sector for over 30 years, I became an Italian Wine Ambassador and an Italian Wine Scholar. So I've decided to create this Italian Wine Class Series focusing on Native Varieties. It's a fun, educational, social networking event.
So please join me for a late afternoon of learning and networking with your fellow Italian wine lovers.
Consumers attending are encouraged to also make dinner reservations at Salt Creek Grille after the class and will receive a $25 Rewards Card to use during your visit.
