Sundays in the spring are always a great time to visit Riverbench Vineyard!
Special outdoor wine menu includes wine by the bottle or glass. Bring a blanket and find a spot for a picnic on the lawn.
Live music by acoustic guitarists Zach Doiron & Colin Shepherd will be filling the garden with all original music from 12pm to 3pm.
Food will be available for purchase from DeBilz & Family's Mobile Bistro. RSVP for updates on the full food truck menu as the event approaches.
A few things to make your visit awesome:
  • Picnic tables are first come - first served. Bring a blanket as there is no shortage of lush lawn to lounge outside.
  • Bringing your own picnic lunch is ok, but please no outside alcoholic beverages, our license does not allow it.
  • We have delicious alcohol free beverages, including sparkling grape juice and gourmet sodas for your designated driver.
  • Leashed dogs are welcome - we are all dog lovers at Riverbench!
Zach Doiron & Colin Shepherd have been writing and performing music together for the better part of a decade. Their songs reflect upon life both past and present, in bluesy overtones reminiscent of bygone days. The pair sing and play acoustic guitar, accompanying one another with finesse that only time can hone. Doiron occasionally picks up a bottle neck slide and proceeds to procure rich, Delta-esque overtones. A multi instrumentalist, Shepherd is liable to seamlessly switch between guitar, blues harp, clarinet, or summoning the sweet melodies from a gorgeous double necked pedal steel without so much as the blink of an eye. Together, the guitarists were integral founding members of Santa Barbara bands Sprout and Pacific Haze, penning many of the songs the bands were known for. They toured up and down the West Coast playing rock n’ roll in tiny taverns, smoky saloons, and forested festivals. Today, Doiron is the father of two beautiful children and guitarist and vocalist of local group Spoonful. Shepherd is father to a lovely daughter and enjoys picking a tune here and there when he’s not managing a local farm.
