Riedel Performance Tasting Set Education Class. April 21, 6-8pm. $89. Come join Carol Costello as she hosts a wine experience with the new Riedel Performance Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon glasses. Performance is the first RIEDEL wine glass series ever to feature bowls with a light optic impact, which not only adds a pleasing visual aspect to the bowl, but also increases the inner surface area. Not only will you learn how these glasses improve your wine drinking, you will enjoy a culinary small plate, and take the glasses home with you (retail value of these glasses is $118).
Lagunitas Brewing and Gypsy Circus Cider Education Class. April 22, 6-8pm. $39. Come join Carol Costello as she hosts Blair Reath from Cherokee Distributing to learn about the best in the beer and cider world. Lagunitas is known for their IPAs and other fine ales and has a motto: Wherever you go: beer speaks, people mumble. Lagunitas will be releasing one of their most sought-after beers this week and we hope to have it to evaluate. Gypsy Circus is the South’s most awarded cider made from 100% locally-sourced fresh pressed apples with an amazing line of varying flavors. We will learn about both companies and evaluate representative beers and ciders and get a logoed glass to take home. A culinary buffet will be prepared by culinary students under the direction of Tyler White.
