Local Event
Cost: $35 per person
Wine in Italy is inherently tied to culture, geography, history, tradition and food. It is not a commodity or luxury product that exists on its own and tries to earn a score of 90 or above. It is something to be shared around a table with family and friends, a way to celebrate conviviality and pleasure that dates back to the Etruscans, the Greeks, and the Romans.
With more than 500 grape varieties, you could literally drink only Italian wines for the rest of your life and still be thirsty for more. The huge diversity of Italian wines make it an endless exploration and one of the reasons these wines are on fire.
Rosie Kasper-Bennett, Certified Sommelier, will take you on a fun and educational Italian wine tasting journey. Come join this exciting and informative class where you’ll taste both white and red wines, learn the interesting stories behind these labels, and enjoy tasty food offerings prepared by Mary’s Pizza.
