The Grand Tasting is the signature event of the Forks & Corks Food and Wine Festival, welcoming 1,800 guests to the exquisite courtyard of the John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art courtyard, to sip international wines and sample local culinary creations.
On Sunday, January 26th, the Ringling Museum's iconic statue of David will gaze upon the crowd as they enjoy a variety of sweet and savory fare. Originals restaurateurs and chefs continuously outdo themselves with fabulous dishes to guests' delights! Patrons will sip from a collection of more than 350 wines from across the globe – all hand-selected and professionally tasted, judged and recognized as medal winners. Last year, the acclaimed vintages of over 70 wineries from around the world were poured, with Winemakers from California, Oregon, Italy, South Africa, France, Spain, South America and many other locales chatting with guests and enjoying the excitement of the afternoon.
Unique to Forks & Corks is the Retail experience. After sipping and swirling their way through the courtyard, patrons will have the opportunity to purchase their favorite vintages in the onsite retail area. The Sarasota-Manatee Originals are proud to support All Faiths Food Bank through our popular silent auction, composed of specialty wines, rare experiences and more.
VIP Tickets for the Grand Tasting can be purchased online only. General Admission Tickets are SOLD OUT.
VIP tickets include a $150 wine voucher, Signature event bag, valet parking, early front courtyard entrance at 11:00am for a champagne welcome reception, as well as covered seating and a personal invitation to the VIP festival kick-off party.
All food, wine and beverage samplings are included in your ticket price.
