Cost: £45 (includes 13 wines & charcuterie to sample)

Compare the wines of Sicily and Puglia with Rose Murray Brown MW as your guide.

Sicilian wines have improved dramatically in the last decade.  For years Sicily was just a big bulk producer, but now with a focus on fine quality table wines it is producing some fascinating wines.  At this tasting you will discover the indigenous grapes of Sicily from Grillo, Carricante to Nerello Mascalese - taste wines made from French classic grapes grown on the island - and learn about Sicily's top producers.

Puglia is becoming a very popular tourist destination and its wines offer some of the best value reds from Italy today.  At this tasting you will discover its interesting white wines from Verdeca, Fiano and Malvasia - as well as its well known reds made from Primitivo and Negroamaro - and discover lesser-known grapes like Susumaniello and Uva di Troia.

A selection of Italian prosciutto, salamis, cheeses, olives and breads will also be served alongside the wines.

No prior knowledge required to enjoy this - just a love of Italian wine & food.

A great gift for anyone who loves Italy.

Gift vouchers available on request.
