For the fourth year in a row the wineries around Melnik are opening their doors in honor of the Day of St. Trifon Zarezan - a celebration of vine-growing and wine-making.
The celebrations are conveniently on a Friday this year and the event will continue on Saturday and Sunday. From February 14th to 16th 2020 12 wineries below will be open for visitors and wine lovers!
Every participating winery will prepare their own program for the days, but you can expect pruning of the vines, wine tastings, tours, music and local foods. Follow the details for each one on this page and the wineries’ individual ones.
They will be organizing a variety of special events such as winery tours and wine tastings, pruning rituals, folklore programes, food & wine pairings, and more. Feel free to follow their Facebook pages for more information or contact them directly if you have any questions.
