Do you know, Australia is a country that is larger than the moon in diameter? With a land mass of 7.692 million km², Australia covers various climates and landscapes. It's hardly surprising that there are many amazing wine regions in Australia producing easy drinking styles, to premium and fine wines.
You might be familiar with Australian Shiraz. But is that all? Of course not! Many regions have ancient soil and old vines and producing some outstanding wines. Aussie wines have quality and diversity in abundance for sure!
In this 2.5 hours workshop, we will cover the following topics and taste 5 different Aussie wines together:
-History of Australian wine-Geography, climate and soil
-Varieties and styles
The workshop will be held at Rotunda Bar and Restaurant in Kings Cross. Spaces are limited. This is a foundation course and will suit anyone who is interested in learning more about Australian wines.
