The WSET Level 1 wine certification course is the perfect introduction to the fascinating world of wine. It is a globally-recognized qualification tailored to those who are new to wine, both enthusiasts and those starting a professional career in hospitality, restaurants, or wine retail. No prior wine experience is required.
The curriculum provides a fun and interactive approach that will give students a solid foundation of wine knowledge. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste while learning and techniques to create a range of food and wine pairings.
Underpinning the course is a tool that will be useful throughout your journey as a wine lover or food & beverage professional – the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT). The SAT provides a specific framework that allows students to objectively analyze and describe wine accurately and professionally.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a personalized WSET Level 1 certificate and a lapel pin.
