The New Novelties are a quartet of swing dancers bringing fresh energy to vintage jazz! After meeting through Rochester’s Lindy Hop community, they decided to start making music that celebrates the expressive, joyful swing tradition that took hold in Harlem 80 years ago. They’re here to share creative arrangements of classic jazz tunes from the '20s, '30s, and '40s, so join them for a dance or two!
The New Novelties bring the musical stylings of saxophonist and clarinetist Evan Hamaguchi, guitarist Alex Burr, and vocalists Gretta Cavatassi and Evan Miller Watelet
