“Wine & Cheese” – an exploration of classic combinations, surprising pairings and common pitfalls to avoid. The tasting will feature six wines tailored to cheeses from favourite Winchester haunt, The Cheese Stall.
Hosted by James Hocking , who has spent more than two decades in the wine industry, including stints as wine buyer for Rick Stein’s restaurants, and most recently was Wine Director at The Vineyard, the U.K.’s “Temple of Wine”. He set up James Hocking Wine a year ago and supplies fine Californian wine to the trade and private customers. Hocking is an approved W.S.E.T (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) educator.
