Founded in 1880, Ramos Pinto has been called "The Jewel of the Douro." For one night only we will showcase a selection of library releases and current releases of vintage Ports from this iconic producer. Advanced Sommelier Katie Espinosa will be hosting this incredible evening focusing on vintage port, the most prized and age worthy of all port. Seating is very limited due to the small allocations available to us. Ramos Pinto owns 90% of the vineyards that supply their winemaking needs, making it close to an “estate” grown property. In the Douro Valley, this is the largest proportion of vineyard ownership in relation to production, giving it a high degree of control over viticultural methods and harvest time. Their Quinta de Ervamoira was the first Quinta where individual vineyard blocks were planted with a single variety, selected for the grape’s most appropriate soil and climate, and the vineyards of Ramos Pinto are designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A night not to be missed!
