he Introductory Sommelier Course introduces candidates to the Court of Master Sommeliers, the world of the sommelier and the Court’s Service Standards. Candidates will taste through several wine flights guided by Master Sommeliers while they learn the Court of Master Sommeliers Deductive Tasting Method. The Introductory Course provides a fast-paced review of Theory; candidate should come prepared with theoretical knowledge of the world of wine and beverages and what is expected of a Sommelier working in the hospitality sector. Geared to people in the beverage service industry, the intention of the Introductory Sommelier Course is to provide a hospitality professional with a very well-rounded beverage expertise following the most rigorous standards.
