The 9th Annual Wine, Cheese, and Trees fundraiser, hosted by the Natural Resources Committee of Geneva and the Geneva Park District Foundation, will be held Saturday, February 29, 7 to 10pm at the Stephen Persinger Recreation Center. We will again be serving six wines, specialty craft beer from Solemn Oath, and a variety of appetizers, along with cheese from Curds & Whey. There is live music and ample opportunities to win items through the live and silent auction and raffle table. Proceeds are used to plant trees in parkways, in parks, and open space to rebuild the urban canopy of Geneva. Tickets are $30/person or 4/$100 and can be purchased at www.squareup.com/store/WCT.
