1.Charles Bove Brut, France $17.99
A traditionally made French sparkler from the Loire Valley. Plenty of invigorating bubbles to delight all your senses with zesty aromas of fresh, yeasty bread, quickly followed by the citrus and honeysuckle flavors Chenin Blanc is known for.
2.Moulin de Gassan”Guilhem” Blanc, France $12.99-Silvia’s Favorite!
Variously described as “Lafite in the Languedoc” (Gault & Millau), “the only Grand Cru of the Midi” (Hugh Johnson) and “exceptional” (Robert Parker), Mas de Daumas Gassac has consistently been the Languedoc gold standard for the past four decades. The 80-hectare, organically-farmed estate is located deep in the sultry Midi, but enjoys a temperate microclimate as a result of altitude.
3.Coupe Roses “La Bastide “ Minervois, France $16.99- The Wildcard!
The palate is dry and bright with soft acidity, tannins and a smooth, round mouthfeel leading into a complex finish with motes of herbs and leather.
4.MWC Pinot Noir, Australia $15.99
The aroma is enticing with intense plum, cherry and strawberry fruit with a hint of spicy oak. The fresh fruit momentum continues on the palate with vibrant plum and dark stone fruits finishing with some firm acid, beautiful tannins and integrated oak.
5.MWC Cabernet Sauvignon, Australia $15.99
Inviting aromas of black currant and vanilla lead to flavors of ripe blackberries, raspberries, and tobacco. This Cabernet Sauvignon finishes with soft, velvety tannins.
