New Year's Eve Celebration at Left Bank Brasserie San Jose

On New Year's Eve, Tuesday, December 31, Left Bank Brasserie on Santana Row in San Jose will open at 11:30 AM with the last seating at 11:00 PM and will be serving the regular à la carte lunch menu and for dinner a $75.00 four-course prix fixe. The prix fixe will include an Amuse Bouche of Barquette d’Endive with roasted red and golden beets, caramelized walnuts and apple cider vinaigrette, paired with a glass of sparkling wine; appetizer choices of Celery Root and Roasted Chestnut Soup with truffle oil and fried lotus root, Spinach Salade with apple, golden raisins, pickled red onions and caramelized honey mustard vinaigrette, Escargots with Pernod garlic butter, or Warm Goat Cheese Salade with hazelnut crusted goat cheese, mesclun greens and Champagne vinaigrette; main course choices of Braised Lamb Shank with Brussels sprouts, Parmesan polenta and gremolata, Filet Mignon, a pan roasted 6 oz. filet mignon with Béarnaise and chive Yukon Gold potato purée, Maine Lobster Tail, a butter poached 8 oz. Maine lobster tail with roasted butternut squash, wild mushroom, and leek risotto, Swanson Island BC Salmon with roasted butternut squash, baby kale and vanilla saffron emulsion, Ravioli Aux Champignons, porcini mushroom ravioli with spinach, Parmesan and wild mushroom cream sauce; and for dessert, Chocolate Hazelnut Gianduja Cake, chocolate cake with chocolate hazelnut mousse, vanilla crème brûlée center and roasted hazelnuts or Passion Fruit Tart with raspberry coulis. The prix fixe menu items will also be available à la carte, a reduced regular à la carte dinner menu will be offered, and there will not be Happy Hour service that day. Vibrant decorations in the spirit of the occasion will include multi-colored balloons and streamers and guests for the evening's last seating will receive a complimentary sparkling wine toast and party favors at midnight. All prices exclude tax and gratuity.
