We think we've planned a most unique wine tasting for the Holiday Season. In the past, we've done 'mundane' events such as Champagne or Feast of the 7 Fishes.
But never in our 40+ year history of wine events have we
ever had a pairing of Sherry with food.
Our guest speaker is Robert Colopy. With a career of more than 30 years traveling the world importing, marketing and distributing fine wines from Europe, South America, California and Oregon, Robert currently resides in Connecticut. He is managing the New England market for Gonzalez Byass, the oldest family owned winery in the capital of Spain's sherry wine region, Jerez de la Frontera. He is a sherry wine educator and renowned expert of Spanish wines in particular.
Working together with the chef owners of Ibiza Tapas, Robert is one of the best people in the country to address how to pair Sherry with food.
We'll have some gems this evening with some remarkable and unqiue food pairings so we hope you'll be able to join us for this special Holiday celebration.

Vanilla ice cream with wine poured over, whipped cream, and sprinkled with an almond praline.
