Our host for the evening, Mrs. Joan Schoepflin, has written several novels, one of which is her favorite, is the 1920’s Murder in the Study. She will be hosting a murder mystery event at the Winery.
Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their character. The characters will get a dossier of facts about themselves and other characters. They will want to share the facts about other characters and be evasive about facts about themselves that may throw suspicion on themselves. There is one killer and they find out that they are and they can lie, none of the others can. Prizes will be given to anyone that can solve the mystery. The killer receives the prize if they fool everyone. There will be a few props provided and a 1920’s phone that rings to tell me that the murder has happened.
