Most Champagne producers use grapes from their own vineyards combined with fruit purchased from others. Grower Champagnes are made by the estate that owns the vineyards where the grapes are grown. Prior to importer Terry Theise’s introduction of these small, artisanal producers to the U.S. market, the term had rarely been used. Join us for this very special Sunday tasting featuring Pierre Gimonnet and Pierre Péters in the Côte des Blancs, and Marc Hébrart, L. Aubry Fils, Henri Billiot, Gaston Chiquet, Vilmart and Chartogne-Taillet in the Vallée de la Marne.
