Italy's Biggest and Best Reds
Join us for a special tasting of a few of Italy's Best Red Wines. Conducting the class will be Tom Hyland, author of two books on Italian wines, current US ambassador for the Consorzio I Vini del Piemonte, and writer for publications such as Forbes.com and wine-searcher.com
In the class, we will examine several of the great red wines of Italy, tasting out Barolo, Barbaresco, Brunello di Montalcino and Amarone. We will discuss the characteristics of these wines, their aging potential, vintage differences, and most importantly, food pairings. All in all, this will be an insightful evening of great Italian red wines!
