The Uncorked Vintage Academia would like to extend this invitation to you, as this year approaches an end, what better opportunity to explore in this comparative tasting around 20 wines from around the globe produced 10 years ago!
A retrospective insider exploration to 2009 as a vintage - and as focus the ageing and cellaring potential for these wines.
The tasting has a range from wines of process: sparkling and late harvest, as well as still wines, white and red.
We'll explore wines from 23 distinct regions, from 8 countries:
FRANCE --- Bordeaux, Loire Valley, Alsace, Provence, Northern Rhone.
PORTUGAL --- Douro
SPAIN --- Montsant, Priorat, Ribera del Duero
ARGENTINA --- Mendoza
