Cost: The tastings are free, 1 oz pours. This event is at a grocery store and we are usually located near the meat/seafood department.

We will have tastings of Llano Estacado Chardonnay (dry, unoaked - This release is a medium-bodied white wine that is drinking wonderfully now and will improve in complexity from additional bottle aging through 2020. Aromatic features include aromas that include citrus oil, butter, & spice, to Bartlett pears. Serve with richly textured seafood dishes such as salmon, halibut, sea bass, crab legs, or lobster. For something different, try pairing it with spicy Indian cuisine, or lobster risotto.), Merlot (Our 2017 Merlot is composed of 95% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc. Drink this wine now or bottle age through 2021 to evolve the bouquet and complexity of the wine. Serve this medium-bodied Merlot at cool temperature (57-64 F) with grilled portabella mushrooms, lighter cuts of steak or pork, lamb kabobs, and most aged cheese.), Meritage Red (Llano Estacado Meritage Red blend has the distinction of being accepted into the prestigious American Meritage Association. Meritage wines are provocative wines crafted solely from specific “noble” Bordeaux grape varieties and recognizes the centuries-old tradition of blending, long considered to be the highest form of the winemaker’s art. The 2016 Meritage Red is a blend of predominately Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. The wines were fermented separately and blended after completion of Malolactic fermentation in the spring of 2017. In order to enhance its fruit-forward aromatics and to add complexity, the blend was aged with 40% new, French oak until it was bottled in October of 2017. Enjoy with your favorite cut of steak, grilled pork chops, or perhaps a wedge of aged cheddar. Serve at a cool room temperature of 65 F.), and Viva Rosso (Viva Rosso is a blend of two classic DOCG grape varieties, Brachetto (known in Italy as Brachetto d’Acqui) and the extremely popular Moscato d’Asti. Our grapes are processed in Italy and produced using an arrested fermentation technique making Viva Rosso a partially fermented juice. This process results in a small amount of natural CO2 being dissolved in the wine giving it the characteristic “spritz”. Viva Rosso is bottled in Italy using special equipment to retain its spritz. After bottling, the cases are loaded on a refrigerated container and shipped to Texas. Our winemaker created this unique blend and made the trip to Italy to supervise the fermentation and bottling. Chill this one down and simply relax. It’s effervescent & refreshing, with a much lower alcohol content to make it a healthy alternative to an active lifestyle. It’s perfect as that glass of wine to wind down with after a long, hot day all on its own, yet its affinity to so many types of basic cuisine is simply amazing. “Perfect” with pizza, to Texas BBQ, or as an aperitif with fresh strawberries & ice cream.
