What is the gala? The fall fundraiser, “Une Soirée à St. Jacques,” is Alamance Arts’ most important fundraising event of the year. It is a chance for you to help us continue to serve the community, which we do by providing art education to all ages, being a resource for local artists, promoting county unity year after year and obtaining some valued treasures.

Artists, local individuals and businesses donate luxurious goods, services and artwork, and a ticket holder gets the opportunity to bid on his or her favorite items to take home in exciting silent and live auctions filled with fun, twists and turns. Ticket holders will enjoy delectable French cuisine by Chef Lil Lacassagne (former owner of Saint Jacques French Cuisine in Raleigh, named one of the top 100 restaurants in the U.S. by Open Table Diners from 2009 to 2015).

How will it work? With the purchase of a ticket, the buyer receives a bid number upon registration. Guests will be encouraged to bid on their favorite pieces in the silent auction during the cocktail hour and dinner. Silent auction items shall be awarded to the person with the highest bid at the auction’s close. The silent auction will close just prior to the start of the live auction. During the live auction, to enter a bid, a bidder must raise his or her bid card to attract the auctioneer’s attention. The highest bid acknowledged by the auctioneer shall win the live auction item. Donated items will be posted on our website prior to the event, so stay tuned.

What's included?

All guests get to partake in a delicious French-inspired sit-down dinner with paired wines, access to the silent and live auctions, and musical entertainment.
