PARKING ~ FREE & PAID
Valet parking is available for $8.00. The drop-off point is two doors south of our entrance in front of Shakespeare Pub at the corner of India and Winder. Also, on-street parking is usually available within a 3-block radius. Remember that it’s OK to park in yellow commercial zones after 6:00 and that meters are also free after 6:00. You can also park in the lot behind Shakespeare Pub two doors down, but do not park in El Indio's lot unless you want your car towed! If you can’t find parking next to the restaurant, there’s always LOTS OF PARKING on San Diego Avenue and the adjacent side streets just past the Chevron station across Washington Street. So please don't drive yourself crazy endlessly going around in circles waiting to pounce on that perfect spot when there's TONS OF PARKING less than three blocks away!

WINE NOTES & BOTTLE PRICES
2017 Tangent Sauvignon Blanc ~ $14
(Edna Valley) Winemaker's Notes: A rare example of a cool climate Sauvignon Blanc that is bright and racy. Full of flavors of zesty citrus, guava and passion fruit with a chalky minerality and a hint of salinity. This wine highlights all the benefits of a cool climate estate vineyard, ideal for growing this vibrant varietal. This wine is the perfect combination of Sauvignon Blancs from New Zealand and Sancerre – bursting with fruit flavors and balanced with the perfect amount of racy acidity.

2017 Croix "Ruxton Sands" Rosé of Pinot Noir ~ $22
(Napa Valley) Review by Jen Dunnuck: A beautifully provencal effort, the 2017 ruxton sands rose offers a distinct minerality to go with citrus and orange arind aromatics, medium-bodied richness, and racy, boderline tart acidity. 88 pts.

2016 Margerum "M5" Red Rhône Blend ~ $23
(Santa Barbara County) Winemaker's Notes: 44% Grenache, 36% Syrah, 12% Mourvèdre, 5% Counoise + 3% Cinsaut. Opaque with dense crimson and ruby red hues. Aromas of red fruits, dried cranberries and jammy youthful fruits come immediately to the fore, with perfumed Grenache and rose petal floral aromas. A solid core of dark red fruit and spicy fruit surrounded by youthful tannins. The overlying presence of Grenache flavors initially impacts the palate, followed by a finish complete with hints of jam, cocoa and dark berry contributions of Syrah and earthy Mourvèdre. 93 Points, Vinous.

2017 Turley "Duarte" Zinfandel ~ $54
(Contra Costa County) Review by Wine Advocate: 93 points. This wine comes from three vineyards planted between 1890 and 1930, with own-rooted vines in sandy soils. Medium to deep ruby-purple in color, it opens with warm cinnamon toast, shaved nutmeg and touches of candied peach over a core of sliced blueberries and warm black cherries with earthy nuances. Medium to full-bodied, it has great intensity in the mouth, with black and blue fruits and spicy layers, great juicy acidity and a structuring frame of ripe, grainy tannins, finishing long and flavorful.

NV Hidalgo Pedro Ximenez Sherry ~ $21 (500ml)
(Spain) Dense and velvety, and caramel in color, this wine is an explosion of raisins, dry figs and honey. It can be used for reduction sauces and for baking yet it is an excellent accompaniment to blue cheese, poured over vanilla ice cream or served alone.
