Join us for a generous pouring of bottles sourced from small-production vineyards in California, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain, including a fantastic 94-point Grenache from De Muller. Created in 1851, De Muller might be best known for supplying the Vatican with its excellent wines. 'Aureo' is taken from a solera started in 1954. It has a dark amber color and the nose has an extra dimension of sweetness added to the aromas of dried nuts, olives, aromatic herbs, sweet spices, curry and varnished wood. The palate is full, with a pleasant bitter note at the end. Only 5k bottles produced each year!
