Please join Chef Erin Sealy at her NEW La Jolla location, Keg N Bottle La Jolla. We have a fantastic evening planned, focused on single malt whiskies and scotches. We'll be featuring 6 fantastic selections 3 from Scottland and 3 from America to offer a unique comparative experience. As a special treat, we'll be pouring the Black Art Edition 6.1, a small production offering from Bruichladdich with only 18,000 number bottles produced. And in the event you need another reason to register for this one-night-only experience, all registered attendees will also have the opportunity to take home a bottle of Port Charlotte 10 year for just $0.10! Joey Oehrlein will be joining us from the distillery to present these exceptional whiskies and offer insights on each selection. Chef Erin will be pairing each whiskey with its own dinner course. Each selection will be paired with its own spirit inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine and spirits, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each selection is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each selection. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each spirit. With a passion for food, wine and spirits, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course. Expect a fabulous evening of whiskey, food & educational insights!
*Please note that the majority of seating for this event is upstairs in the wine cellar/loft are. The only way to access this area is via stairs. Please be sure to note in the special requests section at registration if you require seating in the downstairs area of the venue.
*Please let us know if anyone in your party would like to replace the whiskey pours with two 5oz pours of wine. Please note that we have limited availability for this option.
