Roka Akor Old Orchard (4999 Old Orchard Shopping Center) will be hosting a special Buffalo Trace Tasting as the first event in their Whiskey & Bourbon Series on Thursday, September 26th at 7pm.
The three-course tasting experience will feature tastings of stellar Buffalo Trace bourbons paired with seasonal summer ingredients from Roka Akor's Robata Grill, Sushi, and Tempura Station using prime meat and seafood. The menu includes:
Greeting: Robata Grilled Shishito Peppers, Ponzu, and Bonito Flakes
paired with Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned: Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Angostura Bitters, Regan's Orange Bitters, Demerara
Tasting: Bourbon Glazed Duck Wings with Cucumbers and Robata Grilled Bourbon Short Rib Sliders with Pickled onion
paired with Buffalo Trace Whiskey Flight: Eagle Rare 10 Year, Blanton's Single Barrel, and Weller Special Reserve
