Discover the food and drink of downtown Kitchener with celebrated food writer Andrew Coppolino. Tours are available October 11-13 & October 16-19. Your tour will depart at 11 am from the K-W Oktoberfest headquarters – 17 Benton Street, Kitchener.
Flavours of Kitchener Walking Tour will expose you to the restaurants in the downtown area — but, perhaps more importantly, Andrew will also introduce you to the cooks and restaurateurs (let’s call them passionate culinary artisans!) who work wonders with the best of what our region grows and makes and, in fact, some of the best from around the world.
We’ll sample their creations often along with a beverage. Of course, during Oktoberfest, there will be a German twist.
The tour will run two to three-hours with only a few blocks of walking on level ground. The chefs and restaurateurs will introduce themselves and describe the restaurant and their dish and how it was made.
