Unlike KISS and The Rolling Stones, this is the end.

All good things Pink come to an end and in the North East we inevitably begin to say goodbye to Rose just after Labor Day. Each year we seem to extend the Rose drinking season by another week weather permitting. Due to the late summer we are experiencing here in CT we believe we'll see Rose drinking well into early October. In reality this wine category is the perfect accompaniment to holiday meals which are just in the distance. So as we begin the last hoorah keep in mind those that you have enjoyed this year and put them front and center on your holiday table. Rose and pumpkin pie? I dunno, it could be a thing. I'm willing to try it.

Rosé has exploded on the US market over the past few years, especially during the warm months of the year. In France, it now eclipses the sale of white wine and, rumor has it. It also happens to be the perfect wine for sipping in the park or at a backyard barbecue. Suffice it to say, rosé has become incredibly popular, but most of us don’t know how rosé is made or where some of the most consistent rosés comes from.

During this class we will explore the intricacies of this wine category, taste roses from around the world and determine what style is ideal for you or ideal for a specific occasion.

$30 per person includes your class, light cheese, and crackers to accompany the tasting and $15 gift certificate to purchase wines after the class.

Must respond by August 16th. If class sells out please call us at the store to be out on the call list.

This is a wine appreciation class to further educate your palate by tasting a variety of wines in a professional manner.

You must be 21+ years of age to purchase a ticket.

Classroom size is limited to only 10 people to encourage more in-depth discussion and analysis, so please RSVP early.

You must purchase your tickets early online through our website.

Facebook "Likes" or responses will not be accepted as an RSVP.

Please refrain from cell phone use during the presentation to be respectful of those who are attending to learn more about wine appreciation.

Critical discussion is encouraged, but please be aware and respectful of other students' opinions and assessments of the wines. Wine is subjective and personal to each individual's palate.
