Two World Wars and Soviet control nearly destroyed the centuries old wine industry of Central and Eastern Europe. Thirty years later and wines from Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Crimea and Georgia are finding their way to the export market, providing us with remarkable values and increasing quality in both traditional and obscure new styles. We'll be tasting wines not normally found on our shelf for this class as we reflect on the history of the transitional economies of the Eastern Bloc and experience their path back to a thriving wine industry.
Class & Wine Tasting $25 RSVP firstname.lastname@example.org or sign up in any of our Wine Outlet stores to hold your seat! Once filled, we will waitlist requests and notify of any changes.
