Wine Story Academy's WSET® Level 1 Award In Wines

Cost: Php 16,000.00

This qualification provides a basic introduction to the main styles of wines available to front-line staff involved in wine service or sales. The qualification aims to provide basic product knowledge and skills in wine storage and service, and offers invaluable preparation and training for those entering their first job in wine hospitality or retail.

Programme Outline

• The main styles of wine
• The WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine
• The characteristics of the common grape varieties used to produce wine
• Service of wine
• Health, safety and legal issues
• The pairing of food and wine

To gain this qualification, students must successfully pass a multiple-choice paper of 30 questions.

Successful students will receive a certificate and WSET Level 1 Award in Wine lapel pin.

Regular course rate is P16,000 inclusive of all course materials, wines and food for tasting, test fees, certificate, and lapel pin. Early Bird Rate is P15,200 for enrollements one (1) month before the date of the class.
