Cardoncello diVino has a new volcanic wine flight and food pairing. The modern Italian Osteria is highlighting its volcanic wines from August 2 through Labor Day with an exclusive $25 deal which includes a tasting of three volcanic wines with complimentary food bites.
The volcanic regions include the active zone of Etna (Siciliy), the Veneto region where 50 million year old rocks contribute greatly to the terroir of the wine, and the Campania region whose soil is greatly impacted by the ash left from Mt. Vesuvius.
This special features a walkthrough from Cardoncello diVino’s sommelier, Christian Ferrulli. Ferrulli received his certification from the Italian Sommelier Association and worked formerly in Europe at the Four Season Hotel in Milan and London as well as the Berkley Hotel in London. Ferrulli was also the owner and general manager of Trattoria del Tacco in Deso, Italy.
Cardoncello diVino was recently awarded the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator Magazine in 2019. Their wine program features an extensive list of more than 180 bottles with an emphasis on picking the most sustainable, biodynamic, and organic selections available.
