The Wine House is pleased to present a tasting of two icons of Scotch Whisky… The Dalmore and Jura. The Dalmore, established in 1839, is a true jewel among the Highland Single Malts. Finished in Bourbon and a variety of González Byass Sherry casks, they have produced truly iconic, ground-breaking expressions that have set the standard in Highland Single Malt Whisky.
Off the west coast of Scotland lies the seven mile wide and thirty mile long island of Jura. The island is home to some 5,000 red deer, less than 200 people, one road, one pub, and one distillery. Founded in 1810, Jura uses malts that are both unpeated as well as heavily peated, which gives them a variety in flavor. They select only the highest quality grain, much of which comes from the Speyside region.
Please join for this great display of contrasting styles of Scotch for only $25.
