This 3-hour ‘Tour de France’ will cover the factors that make the wines of France so unique, including geography, soils, varieties, climate, viticulture and wine making techniques. We will learn about the main still appellations, grape varieties that thrive in each appellation and the primary still wine types: red, white and rosé.
This will be a comprehensive presentation by Monica Marin, DWS/FWS, Accredited Educator by the Wine Scholar Guild’s French Scholar program.
Class includes 3 hours of tuition, tasting of 12 wines plus small bites of French cheese & crackers. All levels welcome!
