The sixth annual Prairie Brewfest features craft beer and wine samples – about 20 vendors, in all – along with live music, games, and food trucks. It will be held 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Purgatory Creek Park, 13001 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie. This is a 21-and-over, rain-or-shine event. Proceeds go to the Eden Prairie Community Foundation and its work to help families and individuals in poverty, assist older adults and people living with disabilities, strengthen community services, and increase youth access to scholarships and after-school activities. For the first time, attendees will vote on the Brewfest Choice Grants -- funding that will be awarded to four local nonprofits. Tickets to Prairie Brewfest are $30 in advance and $35 at the event.
