The Upstairs Bar opens at 2 pm! Feel free to show up before the concert and get yourself a good table.
As always, the Upstairs Bar will be serving some of PA's finest local beers, spirits, ciders, and slushies... and of course Pinnacle Ridge wines by the bottle or glass! Come check out our expanded, comfortable seating, and very cool vibes!
From May 18 - Oct 20, groups larger than 6 are welcome on Saturdays and Sundays at the Upstairs Bar *only*, not in the Tasting Room. Please park on Jay Lane, not in our lot, as larger vehicles will not fit.
ABOUT THE BAND:
Frog Holler is an alternative/country rock Americana band from Berks County. Their current lineup consists of bandleader Darren Schlappich on vocals and left-handed guitar, Mike Lavdanski on banjo and vocal harmonies, Daniel Bower on drums, John Kilgore on guitar, Cory Heller on keyboard, and Josh Sceurman on bass, and often incorporate mandolin and steel guitar in their music.
As they built up a following regionally, the band began touring extensively, playing gigs from Boston to the Carolinas. Frog Holler released three records through the small independent label from Philadelphia, Record Cellar, run by Neil Drucker. Improved visibility and the release of their positively reviewed fourth record, Railings, led to the band touring the industrial midwest as well as the Netherlands.
The Washington Post says: “Neo-hillbillies with a twist, Frog Holler plays mountain blues and country as accessible and modern as the most hummable pop.”
The Village Voice: “Great songwriting, deliriously entertaining live act.”
Philadelphia Inquirer: “Schlappich continues to stand head and shoulders above most Americana songwriters.”
They played some great sets here last summer! Check it out!
