There are the “establishment” wine regions, and then there are the rule-breakers and innovators. Paso Robles falls squarely into the latter category. This growing AVA nudged its way into wine society through it’s excellent Zinfandels, Cabernet Sauvignons, and Rhone-style red blends.
1.Mojo Chardonnay $11.99
Aged in small stainless steel tanks, this unoaked wine shows off its excellent varietal characters. A crisp and delicious, ripe pear and citrus notes with a lovely finish.
2.Rabbit Ridge Viognier $19.99 The Wildcard!
What a treat- juicy fruit, spicy mango and papaya flavors and the excellent spine of acidity that makes it drink crisp and clean.
3.Rabbitt Ridge Allure de Robles $14.99
A Rhone Style Red Wine made from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, loaded with rich, ripe fruit and a long, lingering finish.
4.Mojo Cabernet Sauvignon $11.99
Vibrant and youthful palate of blackcurrant, wild berries and a lick of fresh stalky high notes meld with dark chocolate, a savoury touch of black olive and hints of nutmeg and cassis.
5.Rabbit Ridge Zinfandel $19.99 Silvia’s Favorite!
Lively raspberry and cherry aromas that open up to crisp, layered plum, spice and coconut-tinged oak nuances.
Wines will be accompanied by a selection of cheeses, crackers, canapes, artisan breads &olive oil. The cost for one flight (a sample of each of the wines) will be $15.
