Cost: £45 (include 13 wines & cheeses to taste)
A fun tasting comparing the classic French region of Bordeaux matched against the wines of Chile with Rose Murray Brown Master of Wine as your guide.
Chilean wines have improved greatly in quality. Whilst they do have a different style with riper fruit and softer tannins from their warmer climate, it will be interesting to match them against the great dry white and red wines of Haut Medoc, St Emilion and Pomerol.
Sample 13 wines from Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines will be served in pairs, so see if you can identify the New World wine in each pair.
A selection of French cheeses will also be served alongside the wines. Visuals will illustrate the beautiful vineyards of Chile & Bordeaux.
No prior knowledge required to enjoy this - just a love of wine.
A great gift for the Bordeaux or New World wine lover.
